The Langham Hotel HK to Host Lavish New Gourmet Festival

Langham Food and Wine Festival: September 13 – September 23

Hong Kong will emphasize its commitment to world class cuisine with the staging of a new festival from September 13th. The Langham Food and Wine Festival, an iconic first for the island’s hotel industry, will see world-renowned chefs, award-winning wine producers and highly-acclaimed industry enthusiasts gather for an array of stimulating events which aim to capture “a global gourmet journey.”

Distinguished chefs slated to take part include Albert Roux, the first person to be awarded three Michelin Stars in London; two-Michelin-star Italian chef Igor Macchia, two-Michelin-star Hibiscus owner Claude Bosi, one-Michelin-star Spanish chef Angel Pascual, Canadian celebrity chef Susur Lee, French pastry chef Gontran Cherrier, Philippe Mouchel from Australia, New Zealand’s Benjamin Bayly, and four of the top chefs from Hong Kong’s Langham establishments. Bidding will also start at HK$20000 for the chance to dine in The Penthouse Suite of Langham Place with dinner cooked by Michelin-star chef Igor Macchia – all proceeds being donated to charity.
