The Longines Hong Kong Masters Returns in the Year of The Horse

The-Longines-Hong-Kong-Masters-Returns-in-the-Year-of-The-Horse-1 Asia’s only five-star international equestrian show jumping event, the Longines Hong Kong Masters (LHKM) returns this month after a highly successful inaugural year in 2013.

The second edition of the LHKM will take place from 21-23 February 2014 at AsiaWorld-Expo.

The LHKM offers three days of world-class competitions such as the Longines Speed Challenge on Friday, 21 February, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy on Saturday, 22 February night and the Longines Grand Prix on Sunday, 23 February, as well as many lifestyle and educational activities in the Prestige Village for the public to enjoy. 

The world’s top international elite riders and their horses will compete for a total prize of USD 1 million (approx. HKD 7.8 million).

The-Longines-Hong-Kong-Masters-Returns-in-the-Year-of-The-Horse-2The Longines Hong Kong Masters is more than just a sports competition; it is Asia’s first sports-meet-social event that combines spectacular sporting action, glamorous entertainment and show. The 27,000 square meter venue at AsiaWorld-Expo will be transformed into three areas: the Stables, the Main Competition Ring and the Prestige Village, hosting a wide range of entertaining and educational activities, as well as luxury shopping through pop-up stores set up by partner brands. Celebrating the Year of the Horse, the Longines Hong Kong Masters will present monumental equestrian art work by major contemporary artists.
