The products of Taiwan’s finest kitchens are taking center stage at the 2012 Taiwan Culinary Exhibition (TCE). Signature snack foods, banquet dishes and delicacies of the three cities which comprise Tainan, Lugang and Wanhua(Taipei) will headline an event which seeks to illustrate Taiwan’s rich culinary roots. TCE will also include a Domestic Culinary Competition, where top chefs test their skills in professional and student group situations. Other highlights include spectacular kitchen demonstrations from Mainland China chefs, and daily sightseeing activities organized by the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration. The TCE, supported by the Chinese Gourmet Association, runs from August 17th to 20th at TWTC Hall 1, Taipei. Doors open at 0930 each day.
